Yom Kippur night means not eating for a whole next day. Eeek.

The idea is that for your last meal of the year you eat meat, and for the first meal of the new year you eat dairy. Jewish law forbids meat and dairy from being consumed at the same meal, which is why I cannot generally observe the kosher laws, since it would have prohibited me from having a bacon cheeseburger, which is simply one of the greatest foods known to man. That aside, we had a modest meal and I, prepared to fast.
